Aldous Fiore, a talented Mexican multi-instrumentalist and composer who began his musical journey at the young age of 18. Initially a lead singer in various heavy metal projects, his passion for music led him to explore genres, including Middle Ages and Celtic music. Throughout the years, Aldous learned several instruments, such as bagpipes, flutes, and the hurdy-gurdy. His profound connection the Oud, a classical Middle Eastern instrument, sparked a deep exploration of its ancient sounds, leading him to create and collaborate on projects like Joculatores Domini, Codex Festivus, Al Zejel and Gaelic Horses.
Then there was a moment where he decided to explore even deeper studying about this ancient and classical sounds from middle-east played in this beautiful instrument.
Aldous Fiore is currently part of the international band Corvus Corax as a bagpiper, Hurdy Gurdy player, schalmei player and backing vocals while at the same time working on his own projects Fiore ensemble and Rex Darius.
